ipAddress function in the Factory

The ipAddress function returns the IP address of the machine where Rulex Platform is running.

Parameters

ipAddress()

No parameters are required in this formula.

The following example uses the Students Performance dataset.

In this example, we want to fill an attribute with the IP address of the machine where Rulex Platform is running.

Add a new attribute, called IP address, and type the following formula:

ipAddress()

the attribute will be filled with the IP address of the machine.

Please note that in this screenshot the IP address has been hidden due to security reasons.
